So what are the main duties of a Senior Devops Engineer in NetcompanyIntrasoft
Our client looking for a very committed Expert in Devsecops to contribute to the successful development and deployment of IT applications and services the use of private and public cloud technologies and the promotion of security practices.
As a Senior Devops Engineer you will:
- Deploy applications and services developed by the organisation to the cloud (both the onpremises private cloud which is based on Kubernetes as well as on AWS and Azure public cloud) in a DevSecOps environment;
- In cooperation with the IT Development Team design and implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for the deployment of applications (mainly .NET and Java);
- Automate the integration of security practices in every phase of the software development lifecycle from initial design through integration testing deployment and software delivery;
- Support the migration of our IT Developers Team to the DevSecOps solution provided;
- Ensure the smooth operation of the deployed applications and services ensure application of the security plan and monitor performance and costs.
Qualifications :
What would make you a fit for the role:
- A University Degree with 10 years of relevant experience;
- At least 3 years of specific expertise with deployment of applications and services in a cloud environment;
- Experience in deploying and operating systems and applications using container orchestration with Kubernetes (and related technologies such as Docker);
- Experience with main cloud platforms (AWS and Azure);
- Experience in configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines in GitLab;
- Experience in software security/vulnerability assessment (SAST SCA) using SonarQube Fortify and similar tools;
- Experience in InfrastructureasCode (IAC) using Terraform Ansible and similar tools;
- Ability to write clear and structured technical documentation;
- Good communication skills to be able to participate in technical meetings.
It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:
- Experience with management and deployment of APIs on the cloud and onpremises;
- Good knowledge of enterprise logging and monitoring solutions (e.g. Dynatrace);
- Experience in writing and maintaining scripts (Bash/Unix PowerShell);
- Familiarity with opensource projects and development methods.
