Azure Cloud Developer

As an Azure Cloud Developer you will be part of a growing team composed by our Cloud Data Architects Engineers and Analysts working on Azure Cloud Environment. You will be involved in all stages of development from solution design to development and deployment testing and maintenance.

As an Azure Cloud Developer you will:

• Use Microsoft platform technologies (ASP Web API) and Azure design build and modify existing businesstier components Web applications and database objects.
• Participate in the design and building of modern cloudnative application services.
• Collaborate with Team Leads to define/clarify business requirements.
• Run unit and integration tests on all created code. Create and run unit and integration tests throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Team on issue reporting resolution and change management.
• Participate in the modernisation of existing applications into cloudready and/or cloudnative applications (applications migration).
• Assist other teams in resolving issues that may develop as a result of applications or the integration of multiple components.

Qualifications :

What would make you a fit for the role:

• University degree in Computer Science Information Systems or other relevant discipline with at least 7 years of experience in ICT sector.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Azure Cloud Developer.
• Experience in the design development and implementation of cloudnative distributed applications microservices serverless applications and infrastructureascode technology.
• Microsoft Certification (e.g. Azure Developer Associate)
• Experience using automation tools and techniques related to cloud technologies (CI/CD Azure pipelines). 
• Knowledge of emerging cloud technologies (e.g. AI/ML blockchain Biceps).
• Knowledge of Python Java SQL Server development Docker and Kubernetes.
• Serverless/Microservice concepts and architecture (Azure technologies).
• Working knowledge of security best practices (e.g. OWASP).
• Solid knowledge of SDLC and agile techniques.
• Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal).
