Our client is seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Head of Business Development to lead our growth strategy in Malaysia. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the FX & CFDs industry with at least 5 years of managerial experience in a business development role. This individual will be responsible for expanding the companys market presence building strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth.
What will you do:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to drive growth in the Malaysian market.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders including IBs affiliates and institutional clients.
- Lead and mentor the business development team setting clear goals and ensuring performance targets are met.
- Analyze market trends competitor activity and customer needs to inform business strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize client acquisition and retention.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Represent the company at industry events networking functions and trade expos.
Who we are looking for:
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in a Business Development role within the FX & CFDs industry.
- Strong network and connections in the FX & CFDs sector.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful business strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Malay and Chinese will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions.
