JASARA PMC is on the lookout for a skilled Project Control Manager to enhance our project management capabilities and drive the success of our infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project control functions, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will play a key role in developing and implementing strategies that not only align with our commitment to high standards of engineering excellence but also support the broader objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring project performance using established metrics, conducting detailed analyses of project data, and identifying potential risks and areas for improvement. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with project stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and ensure that each project aligns with the strategic goals of JASARA PMC.
Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline
At least 7 years of experience in project controls, preferably in the engineering and construction sector
Strong understanding of project management processes, methodologies, and tools
Proficiency in project scheduling software, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
Excellent analytical skills with a keen ability to interpret project data
Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to manage relationships with stakeholders effectively
Project Planning and Scheduling
Develop Project Schedules: Create detailed project schedules using project management software (such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar) that outlines milestones, deadlines, and the sequence of activities.
Resource Allocation: Work with project managers to allocate resources (labor, equipment, materials) efficiently and ensure that the right resources are available at the right time.
Critical Path Management: Identify the critical path of the project to ensure timely completion and mitigate potential delays.
Schedule Monitoring: Track the project’s progress against the established schedule, and provide updates on deviations and corrective actions.
Cost Control and Budget Management
Develop and Monitor Budgets: Create detailed project budgets by estimating costs for labor, materials, equipment, and overhead, and monitor spending throughout the project's lifecycle.
Cost Tracking: Regularly monitor and analyze project costs to identify any variances and implement corrective actions if the project is over budget.
Forecasting: Provide regular cost forecasts to stakeholders, predicting the final project cost based on the current spending rate and remaining work.
Cost Control Strategies: Implement and monitor cost control procedures, including change order management and budget adjustments, to keep the project within financial limits.
