Job Description
We are an innovative AI SaaS startup that develops cuttingedge AI solutions and provides expert consulting services. Were looking for a talented Data Scientist to join our team and help drive our product development and consulting initiatives.
Tasks
As a Data Scientist at our startup you will play a crucial role in developing AIpowered solutions for our SaaS platform and providing expert guidance to our consulting clients. You will work closely with crossfunctional teams to design implement and optimize machine learning models that solve complex business problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling Microsoft Azure ecosystem Data Factory and other Azure services.
- Strong understanding of programming languages like Python R SQL and/or Spark for data manipulation and analysis to fellow teammates
- Define and manage analytics data science and AI strategy across multiple business verticals.
- Provide expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence contributing to model development refinement and implementation.
- Oversee teams of data scientists resolving bottlenecks in project across manufacturing supply chain marketing R&D commercial sales and legal.
- Collaborate with business teams to develop and implement analytics solutions.
- Work closely with data engineering application engineering and enterprise architecture teams to implement scalable solutions.
- Communicate insights effectively to technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in Data Science Machine Learning Deep Learning Natural Language Processing MLOps and Generative AI.
- Drive a culture of knowledgesharing innovation and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirements
- 4year Engineering degree. An MBA or any specialized course work in Data Science is a plus. Work experience in Pharma/Healthcare is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science Data Science Applied Mathematics or a related field is a Plus
- 8 years of professional experience in data science or machine learning is preferred
- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in data science libraries (e.g. pandas scikitlearn TensorFlow PyTorch)
- Expertise in statistical analysis machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop Spark) and SQL databases
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to translate complex problems into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters degree in a relevant field
- Experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms preferably orthogonal techstacks AWS
- Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI)
- Experience in natural language processing (NLP) Gen AI or computer vision
- Background in a relevant industry (e.g. finance healthcare retail) for domain expertise
- Contributions to opensource projects or published research papers
- Experience in consulting role or working directly with clients
- Understanding of data governance and compliance regulations (e.g. GDPR CCPA)
