This is a remote position.
Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday 8am5pm EST with a 1 hour unpaid break

Job Description
We re seeking a skilled and adaptable Bookkeeper to join our client s expanding team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of clients primarily using QuickBooks Online while also diving into specialized restaurant accounting software. As our client embarks on a significant growth phase you ll play a crucial role in supporting their expansion and maintaining highquality financial services. This position allows you to work remotely as part of an international team collaborating with professionals across different time zones and cultures. Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online
- Master and utilize cuttingedge restaurantspecific accounting software
- Perform accurate and timely bank and credit card reconciliations
- Efficiently process accounts payable and receivable ensuring prompt payments and collections
- Prepare detailed financial statements and reports providing valuable insights to clients
- Collaborate with the team to execute monthend and yearend closing procedures
- Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and team members
- Adapt to new accounting technologies and methodologies as the company expands its services
- Contribute to the development of best practices and process improvements
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of handson experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and best practices
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple clients and deadlines
- Proven track record of working independently and thriving in a team environment
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English
- Willingness to learn new software and adapt to evolving industry standards
- Experience with restaurant accounting is a plus but not required
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or related field preferred
