partner staffing on behalf of our Client we are seeking an Associate Project Manager to join our growing team in either our Prince George or Fort St. John office. Relocation will be considered. This role involves close collaboration with financial and technical teams to support projects from inception to completion. While primarily officebased occasional travel to other office locations may be required.



Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and contracts establishing effective tracking systems.
  • Oversee subcontractor billing and ensure accurate technical descriptions.
  • Collaborate with safety teams and subcontractors to ensure compliance with OHS regulations.
  • Manage billing processes efficiently to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and finalize invoices in partnership with project managers.
  • Interface with client systems and project teams to meet projectspecific requirements.
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices until payment is received.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum B.Sc. in a relevant field with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Professional designations such as CPA RPBio PAg or Applied Science Technologist are considered assets.
  • Proven project support experience in a relevant industry.
  • Familiarity with Ariba OpenInvoice and Deltek VantagePoint is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and a willingness to learn ERP systems.
  • Experience in the environmental consulting industry is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.

About the Opportunity Our Client is currently seeking a Senior Biologist to join the team. Preference is for candidates to be based out of Fort St James, Fort St John, and Prince George, BC. However, we will consider candidates that reside outside of these areas. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Leading and joining field teams in various disciplines (wildlife, birds, fish, aquatic habitat, water quality, vegetation, soils, wetlands, environmental monitoring, sediment, and erosion control) Contributing to environmental impact assessments, mitigation plans, and proposals. Assisting in preparing and obtaining regulatory approvals for a wide variety of projects such as transportation, renewable energy, mining, oil, and gas, etc. Senior level responsibilities could include Field Coordination and Project Management Technical leadership and mentorship within a team environment Promoting a strong safety culture and working collaboratively within corporate culture More About You To qualify, you will need a minimum of a B.Sc. in Biology or related discipline with five years experience, and RPBio, PBiol, and/or P.Ag. designation or eligibility. Courses or certifications in the following areas would be considered assets: Electrofishing Certification (approved by WorkSafe BC) Fish identification Bird survey methodology and bird identification Amphibian salvage methodology and amphibian identification Erosion and Sediment Control Plant identification Candidates with the following skills and experience will be considered: Sound knowledge of field techniques and regulatory standards necessary for conducting a variety of field activities (i.e., wildlife assessments, bird surveys, water quality, fisheries inventories/ salvage, environmental monitoring/inspection) Knowledge of the provincial and federal environmental assessment regulatory environment Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management skills and physically fit Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent writing and communication skills, desire to grow business, and work closely (both in a field lead and support role) with other environmental professionals, environmental discipline leads, and First Nations Proficiency in the operation of field equipment is an asset Due to the nature of the role, you must have a valid Driver's License. Lastly, you will be joining with the passion to contribute and believe in the work that they do.
