Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in automating managing and optimizing our infrastructure and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps principles cloud platforms CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC). They will work closely with development security and operations teams to ensure high availability scalability and security of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure & Automation:
- Design build and maintain scalable reliable and secure cloudbased infrastructure (AWS Azure or GCP).
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation.
- Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS AKS GKE) for container orchestration.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps.
- Automate application deployment monitoring and scaling strategies.
Monitoring & Security:
- Implement logging monitoring and alerting solutions using Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack or Datadog.
- Ensure security best practices for cloud environments including IAM RBAC encryption and compliance standards.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and automate security checks in CI/CD pipelines.
- Establish disaster recovery and backup strategies.
Collaboration & Troubleshooting:
- Work closely with developers to optimize application performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot complex system and application issues in production and nonproduction environments.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis efforts.
- Improve system performance and cost efficiency through cloud resource optimization.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Design implement and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform CloudFormation or CDK for multitenant applications.
- AWS Cloud Management: Architect deploy and optimize AWS services including EC2 RDS Lambda ECS EKS S3 IAM VPC Route53 and more to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Observability & Monitoring: Implement monitoring logging and alerting solutions using Prometheus Grafana CloudWatch ELK Stack or Datadog to enhance system reliability.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce security best practices using IAM policies security groups WAF and vulnerability scanning tools to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Scaling & Performance Optimization: Design scalable architectures implement autoscaling strategies and optimize resource utilization to handle high traffic loads.
- CI/CD Automation: Develop and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions GitLab CI/CD Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline for seamless application deployment.
- Scripting & Automation: Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Python Bash or PowerShell.
- Mentorship & Best Practices: Guide and mentor junior DevOps engineers drive knowledgesharing sessions and establish best practices for infrastructure management.
