Job Description

Reporting to the Regional People Director you will responsible for overseeing payroll operations across multiple countries in the EMEA region ensuring accuracy compliance with local tax laws and timely payroll processing. This role requires leadership expertise in payroll systems and knowledge of international payroll regulations. The EMEA Payroll Manager will collaborate with HR Finance and external vendors to drive process improvements and ensure a seamless payroll experience for employees.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Payroll Operations & Compliance:
  • Oversee endtoend payroll processing across multiple EMEA countries ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws social security and labor regulations across different jurisdictions.
  • Manage payroll reconciliations audits and monthend reporting in coordination with Finance teams.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data protection regulations concerning payroll records.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
  • Manage relationships with thirdparty payroll providers ensuring service quality and contract compliance.
  • Act as the key liaison between HR Finance Tax and Legal teams for payrollrelated matters.
  • Provide payroll expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders resolving payrollrelated queries.
  • Process Improvement & System Optimization:
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in payroll operations.
  • Work closely with HR teams to optimize the process
  • Drive automation initiatives and standardize payroll processes across EMEA countries.
  • Reporting & Compliance Audits:
  • Ensure accurate reporting of payroll costs for budgeting and forecasting.
  • Prepare and submit required statutory filings and reports in line with countryspecific regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits ensuring payroll compliance and financial integrity.
  • Employee Support & Payroll Issue Resolution:
  • Address payrollrelated concerns from employees and provide resolution in a timely manner.
  • Ensure a seamless employee experience by maintaining payroll accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications :

  • 5 to 7 years max of experience overall in payroll
  • Minimum 3 years of hands on experience in EMEA payroll focus on Denmark Netherlands Germany Sweden and Spain .
  • Should be well versed in payroll and benefits legislation for at least 2 of the above countries.
  • Requires experience working across at least 2 of these country payroll
  • Experience of working with 3rd party payroll service providers
  • Should be able to be point of liaison between employees and the payroll service provider .
  • Process Improvement You seek and implement solutions to streamline and automate processes.
  • Team Collaboration Youll be great at collaborating with team members to achieve common goals valuing and respecting diverse contributions.
  • Adaptability Youre good at adapting strategies and plans to navigate unforeseen circumstances.
  • Problem Solving When faced with a problem you collaborate with the appropriate people to evaluate different options find practical solutions.
