Job Summary
The Manager of Technology will lead all technological operations across the companys hospitality and real estate business. This role is responsible for overseeing digital infrastructure ensuring the seamless integration of technology into daily operations and driving innovation to enhance efficiency guest experience and business performance. The ideal candidate will optimize systems implement new solutions and spearhead automation efforts to maximize operational impact.
Key Responsibilities
1. Digital Systems & Innovation
- Manage and optimize all digital systems including PMS TMS communication platforms (WhatsApp email) company websites and businesscritical software.
- Implement new technology solutions that improve operational efficiency reduce costs and maximize system value.
- Train internal teams on new tools and ensure smooth adoption of technology.
- Identify and introduce automation solutions that enhance operational workflows and datadriven decisionmaking.
2. Hotel Technology Infrastructure
- Design standardize and oversee the implementation of hardware and software solutions for hotel operations including:
- CCTV and security systems
- WiFi networks and structured cabling
- Fire and intrusion detection systems
- Smart room technology (IoT) and domotics
- IP telephony and call management
- Smart access control systems
- Guest journeyenhancing technologies (selfcheckin digital keys etc.
- Ensure ongoing maintenance security and optimization of all IT infrastructure across properties.
- Collaborate with contractors and internal teams to ensure correct installation and operational compliance.
3. ERP & Business Technology
- Lead the implementation and management of the companys ERP system to improve business automation.
- Provide technical support for ERP and other business tools to ensure seamless operation.
- Collaborate with finance operations and management teams to customize ERP functionalities to business needs.
4. Web & Software Development
- Oversee the implementation of web applications that enhance the companys digital presence and operational efficiency.
- Integrate APIs booking engines and thirdparty platforms for improved functionality.
- Supervise the development of custom software solutions with developers designers and IT partners.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in IT management preferably in hospitality real estate or travel industries.
- Strong knowledge of hotel technology including PMS CRM booking engines guestfacing applications and automation systems.
- Expertise in networking cybersecurity and IT infrastructure (CCTV WiFi structured cabling domotics access control etc..
- Proven experience in ERP implementation and business software integration.
- Handson experience with web development APIs and system integrations.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple IT projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to technology innovation.
- Strong leadership and vendor management abilities.
- Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
