Job Description
Job Position: Data Center Support
Location: Minneapolis Minnesota (Onsite)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Mission:
- Installation configuration and maintenance of data center infrastructure including servers storage systems and network devices.
Responsibilities & Outcomes
- Install configure and maintain data center infrastructure including servers storage systems and network devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with data center equipment and systems
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking and replacing air filters cleaning equipment and monitoring temperature and humidity levels
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data center systems with other IT infrastructure
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including diagrams schematics and procedures
- Participate in oncall rotation to provide 24/7 support for data center operations
- Ensure compliance with data center standards policies and procedures
Ideal candidates have/are:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- 2 years of experience in data center operations or a related field
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure including servers storage systems and network devices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Good to have experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
