Job Description
Senior Associate Litigation Attorney Hybrid
PreLitigation cases (with potential to move into a litigation role)
FullTime / Exempt
Hybrid Savannah GA office 1x weekly in office somewhat flexible.
Responsibilities:
Respond to timesensitive demands.
Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts pleadings briefs affidavits motions and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings.
Conduct legal research and work with senior attorneys to respond to timesensitive demands.
Analyze legal conflicts advise clients on solutions and negotiate on their behalf.
Communicate with senior attorneys paralegals and clients to ensure efficient handling of responses especially for clients who need extra explanations.
Document demand response files to keep information uptodate for other attorneys paralegals and support staff.
Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements & Competencies:
57 years of experience in a similar role.
Georgia Bar Admission.
Experience handling timesensitive demands or extracontractual and bad faith matters (preferred).
Ability to manage a high volume of timesensitive demands and meet short response deadlines.
Selfstarter with strong motivation to meet deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management and problemsolving skills.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Must meet billing goals.
