The role:
Logistics Instant Coordinator
Summary of the role:
Responsible for the optimal (costeffective timely quality service... of assigned instant coffee shipments/deliveries from origin to destination. Work closely with head office shippers clients & service providers (banks shipping lines warehouses forwarders local agents... towards that end
Responsibilities:
Inbound
- Work with traders on position followup and any commercial issues with shippers
- Send shipping instructions to shippers (suppliers) in due time
- Place booking with shipping lines where required & ensure internal database (SOL/Cargoo) accuracy
- Followup on sample results where required and update internal database accordingly
- Process shipping documents (including upload onto system) and payment to shippers
- Issue landing instructions to related warehouses accordingly
- Issue and followup on potential Weight Claims
- Liaise closely with shippers shipping partners & end Clients where relevant to deliver the best services
- Check all assigned service invoices to approve the costs
- Check stocks in assigned warehouses on a monthly basis & report accordingly.
Client Support (Outbound)
- Issue logistics documents (invoices release documents cover letters... related to assigned sales & instruct/ensure upload of related external documents where required
- Work closely with Sales & external partners to anticipate challenges and advise on potential solutions
- Advise Sales team on logistic costs for specific scenarios and any other logistic aspect of a sales project/ potential business upon request
- Support head office (GVA) with management innovation projects upon request and continuously contribute to the Logistics strategy through new ideas and open feedback
Qualifications :
Qualifications and Education
- University graduate (BA or equivalent)
- Focus/ Major in Foreign Trade Commodity Trading or Logistics is a plus
- Other certifications are a plus
Experience and Technical Skills
- At least 2 years of working experience (compulsory)
- Experience in an international environment related to trade/ supply chain/ logistics
- Experience in coffee trade logistics is a plus
- Experience in Customer Service is a plus
- Knowledge/ practical experience in SAP (compulsory)
- Good knowledge of Excel Word Outlook
- Knowledge of collaborative tools (MS Teams SharePoint...
- Knowledge of PowerBI is a plus
