Job Description

Job Description:
The Marketing Web Engineer will:
Develop and maintain company websites using HTML CSS JavaScript and other relevant programming languages
Ensure all web properties are optimized for performance accessibility user experience and technical SEO best practices
Build out and maintain our website CMS platforms primarily contentful a headless CMS which requires understanding of how to handle API calls and JSON
Support smooth transitions and integrations of technology platforms
Work closely with content creators designers and other members of the marketing team to implement new tools and digital experiences that drive engagement and conversion
Continuously improve our website project management hitting all deadlines and improving efficiency while maintaining quality web development
Optimize website structure and content to improve search engine rankings; execute on SEO audit fixes

Requirements

Requirements:
5 years building mobile responsive websites or web applications
Great HTML/CSS/JavaScript skills and an understanding of how they affect SEO performance
Experience with Contentful (or another headless CMS) React.js and Requirements:

Experience using version control systems (git) JSON and API calls
Comfortable making technical decisions autonomously; ability to learn new and/or
unfamiliar technologies quickly to meet marketing team requests
Understanding of technical SEO best practices like how to reduce crawl budget remedy
site performance issues and implement/troubleshoot structured data
Capable of providing detailed but easytounderstand analysis and recommendations to
nontechnical team members
Experience optimizing robots.txt files implementing canonical tags pagination pages
and identifying/ fixing redirect loops
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
Site consolidations and domain migrations
Working with marketing or other nonengineering teams
a big plus
Experience using version control systems (git) JSON and API calls
Comfortable making technical decisions autonomously; ability to learn new and/or unfamiliar technologies quickly to meet marketing team requests

Requirements: Bachelors degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Proven experience as a UX/UI designer or similar role. Portfolio of previous design projects demonstrating a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices. Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus. Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
