Location: Bristol Hybrid 2 days in office per week some flexibility on this is possible for candidates who are not local to Bristol

As the FP&A Manager at Beam you will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy of our rapidly growing organization. You will be responsible for budgeting forecasting financial modeling and performance analysis ensuring that leadership has the insights needed to make informed decisions. Working closely with crossfunctional teams you will enhance financial visibility drive efficiency and support strategic initiatives as we scale our operations in offshore wind technology.

Your work will directly influence Beams ability to accelerate the offshore wind transition through datadriven financial planning. By delivering accurate forecasting identifying risks and opportunities and optimizing resource allocation you will enable smarter decisionmaking that fuels innovation and sustainable growth. Your insights will not only drive financial performance but also support Beams mission to revolutionize renewable energy through AI robotics and automation.

Objectives & Responsibilities:

Beam is an exciting and dynamic environment meaning these are likely to change as we grow. Upon joining your objectives and responsibilities will include:

First 30 Days:

• Familiarize yourself with existing financial planning processes reporting structures and business strategies.

• Build relationships with key stakeholders across finance operations and other departments.

First 60 Days:

• Assess current budgeting and forecasting methodologies; identify areas for enhancement.

• Collaborate with department heads to gather data and insights for financial analysis.

First 90 Days & Beyond:

• Lead the development and implementation of robust budgeting forecasting and financial modeling processes.

• Provide strategic financial insights to support decisionmaking and drive business performance.

• Monitor key financial metrics analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.

• Ensure alignment of financial planning with the companys strategic objectives.

• A degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA ACCA CIMA or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g. Xero).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills capable of conveying financial information to nonfinancial stakeholders.
