You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are looking for a operations supervisor to run the day to day works for our Bristol site team.
As a Operations Supervisor youll be involved with the planning coordination and control of all site services operations for Bristol Hub. Youll make sure services are provided efficiently and where required to the clients time frame to a level of quality.Work with other departments to ensure clients requests are met and will report to the regional operations manager.
You will need to have:
*Proven technical and industry experience planning and organisation skills to be able run and monitor site services.
*The ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment related problems
*ICT literacy
*To deal with various technologies and programmes Attention to detail to ensure high levels of quality
* The ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with your team and clients
*The ability to work under pressure and motivate others to meet tight deadlines.
* Ability to work in a logical systematic manner.
Responsibilities youwill need to:
* Oversee all site services and testing schedules.
* Decide what resources are required
* Draft timescales for the contracts
* Monitor the testing processes and adjust schedules as needed
* Work with Managers and Directors to implement the companys policies and goals
* Be part of setting the quality standards with the Senior Management*Be responsible for monitoring and maintenance of equipment
* Identify training needs and compile training records
* Assist with implementation of qualitycontrol programmes
* Maintenance of Quality Management System/ Procedures at laboratory
* Notification of nonconforming work and complaints to Operations Manager/ Quality Manager
* Ensure all procedures/ standards are current/ updated and followed
* Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed
* Supervise and motivate site team of workers Review worker performance
* Role Performance Measures :
* Timely completion of test schedules
* Accountable for output levels and team productivity rates
* Accuracy of administration and attention to detail control of overtime appropriate to workload
* Health & Safety adherence
* Quality control procedure adherence.
Experience:
Minimum 4 years experience of working in laboratory / site environment
Understands demands of ISO 17025 accredited laboratory
Technical Understanding of construction testing within role.
Working hours:
40 hours per week Monday to Friday and will need a clean drivers licence.
