Job Description
This is a fulltime position working the overnight shift either from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am or from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am five nights a week.
To ensure the safety and security of guests staff and hotel property.
- Monitor property through foot patrols and watching security footage and observe report and follow up on safety and security concerns
- Respond to and manage all emergencies including fire medicals and any potential threats to people or property
- Maintain order in the hotel including the onsite staff accommodations
- Follow protocols and the law when responding to situations involving and alcohol
- Document through written reports all incidents events and actions taken
- Follow up and investigate complaints and incidents
- Assist other departments as necessary
- Authorized to make any decisions necessary to effectively deal with security concerns and/or emergency situations
Qualifications :
- Previous security experience
- Valid Alberta security license issued under the Alberta Security Services and Investigators Act
- Current First Aid and CPR level C certification
- Alberta Class 5 drivers license and drivers abstract with no more than 3 demerits
- Clean criminal record
