Job Description
Our client is seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven General Manager Operations with a strong background in mechanical engineering sales marketing and logistics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company s operations nationwide ensuring efficiency growth and profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the company s importation inventory distribution and operational activities across all locations ensuring seamless and efficient service delivery.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational processes sales performance and logistics efficiency.
- Lead and coordinate sales marketing and logistics teams to achieve business goals.
- Identify market opportunities develop client relationships and drive business growth.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations company policies and safety standards.
- Monitor and evaluate operational performance identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage budgets resource allocation and supply chain processes to enhance profitability.
- Collaborate with senior management to align operations with company objectives.
- Implement and leverage technology to streamline logistics and operational workflows.
- Lead and motivate teams to enhance productivity innovation and customer satisfaction.
- Minimum Qualification : Degree
- Experience Level : Senior level
- Experience Length : 7 years
- Location : Lagos
Requirements
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years postqualification experience with a focus on inventory keeping and optimization sales marketing and logistics operations.
- Strong leadership decisionmaking and strategic planning abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of shipping & logistics management supply chain optimization and operational efficiency.
- Proven experience in inventory sales and marketing with the ability to drive revenue and marketshare growth.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in operations management software and datadriven decisionmaking.
- Ability to oversee multiple locations and travel when necessary.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing largescale inventory logistics and distribution operations.
- Additional certifications in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or Project Management.
- Strong network within the industry and experience in B2B sales.
