Job Description
Our areas of activity are Aerospace Defense & Security Big Science Biotechnology and Fintech.
In ARQUIMEA AEROSPACE DEFENCE & SECURITYdevelops safer and more reliable defense systems through technologyincluding unmanned aerial systems (UAVs) sensing systems command and control software and aiming systems.
We are looking for a Project Managerwith the mission to coordinatethe complete life of the projects assigned: planning and closure.
Tasks to be performed:
- Take full ownership of assigned projects overseeing their entire lifecycle from planning to closure.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time within scope and within budget while adhering to company quality standards and procedures.
- Define project scopes and objectives engaging all key stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility as well as effective risk management.
- Manage project communications maintaining close collaboration with stakeholders such as subcontractors partners and customers.
- Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Utilize appropriate verification methods to track and control changes in project scope timeline and costs.
- Provide regular reports and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Required skills experience and candidate profile:
- University degree in Engineering. Specialization in Aerospace Electronics Mechanical Telecommunications or equivalent.
- Relevant experience (more than 4 years) managing engineering projects.
- Experience in Defense sector projects is desirable.
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (e.g. PMI methodologies). PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies is desirable.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Proficient in MS Project. Experience in Project Server is desirable.
- Proactive autonomous and team player.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Comfortable dealing with customers and suppliers
- Proficient in English.
- Eligible to work in the EU.
The position is located in our Headquarters of Torrejn de Ardoz (Madrid).
