Medical Laboratory Technologist
Location: Northern Ontario
Rate: $80/hr
Our client is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join their healthcare team in Northern Ontario. This role provides the opportunity to work across multiple laboratory disciplines engaging both directly with patients and in behindthescenes diagnostics that contribute to highquality patient care.
About the Role
The Medical Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic results. This position offers a mix of patientfacing responsibilities and technical lab work making it an excellent fit for individuals who thrive in dynamic healthcare environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory testing across multiple disciplines to support patient care.
- Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection as required.
- Ensure accuracy and quality control in all laboratory procedures.
- Maintain proper documentation and adhere to regulatory and safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support diagnostic and treatment plans.
- Utilize laboratory equipment and technology to analyze specimens efficiently.
Requirements
- Current registration with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO).
- Previous experience in laboratory disciplines and phlebotomy is an asset.
