Job Description
Job Description:
- Monitoring the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables
- Answering the telephone as per the Hotel standards
- Taking down guest bookings/reservations and allocating tables as per the bookings/reservations.
- Estimating wait times for guests and communicating the same.
- Monitoring the guest waiting list and ensuring that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting.
- Provides a friendly and personalized welcome for guests
- Offers attentive service and accommodates any request the guests may have within the purview of The Hotel standards/policy.
- Heeds any remarks/requests made by guests and ensures followup
- Upon guests arrival assesses the dining room and as per reservation /requirement escorts the guests to the table while explaining the outlet/menu offerings.
- Assist the guests with seating and inform the section/station holder for further assistance
- Upon returning to the station make any necessary changes to the dining room occupancy chart.
Qualifications :
- Vocational certificate or diploma in F&B.
- Language skills: fluent in the national language and business English.
