Job Description
Our client is a highly regarded global management consulting firm with a strong international presence and a reputation for delivering exceptional advisory services. They are seeking a dynamic and skilled International Accountant to join their team in Budapest. and nbsp;
Responsibilities:
- Help the implementation and drive the development of a new Finance Hub establishing and maintaining best practices.
- Support and mentor a team of highperformance accounting professionals providing guidance on complex professional matters post Finance Hub establishment.
- Act as the primary contact addressing sophisticated financial issues requests and advisory needs.
- Identify and spearhead ongoing global process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Contribute to accounting operations for European entities with a strong emphasis on R2R (Record to Report) requirements and consistency through centralized processes.
- Provide strategic support on business partnering matters for key European entities.
- Ensure the and continuous improvement of Internal Controls.
- Collaborate closely with the IT department to enhance overall quality and accuracy of financial reporting.
- Collaborate and contribute to monthend and yearend closing processes ensuring timely and accurate completion of accounting activities.
- Oversee and facilitate yearend audit tasks ensuring compliance and readiness.
- Effectively engage and service stakeholders ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Drive the development and optimization of NetSuite to support the evolving needs of the global Finance department.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in finance or equivalent.
- Professionally trained accountant.
- 5 years of experience in a professional finance environment preferably in an international setup.
- Experienced in shared services and analytical business views.
- Ideally experienced in working with international teams building solutions and adapting to change.
- Fluency in English. Any additional language is highly appreciated.
- Main accounting endtoend with a focus on RecordtoReport (R2R).
- Experience with NetSuite (and/or comparable ERP systems).
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- International business experience preferably in industrial groups.
- Affinity to accounting controlling and IT.
- Initiativedriven strong communication skills.
- Ability to drive changes process and teamoriented.
