Job Description
Job Title: Structural Fabricator
Location: Singapore
Experience: 45 Years
Salary: Depends Upon Experience
Main Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and fabrication plans.
- Cut shape and assemble steel and metal components according to specifications.
- Operate fabrication machinery such as welding machines grinders and cutting torches.
- Perform welding drilling bending and fitting of structural components.
- Ensure all fabricated structures meet quality standards and safety regulations.
- Conduct inspections and repairs on metal structures when required.
- Follow workplace safety and health (WSH) guidelines in Singapore.
- Work closely with engineers supervisors and welders to meet project requirements.
- Maintain fabrication tools and equipment for optimal performance.
- Complete assigned fabrication work within deadlines while ensuring accuracy.
Essential Qualifications:
- Diploma / ITE Certificate in Metal Fabrication Welding or related field (preferred).
- Certification in welding (MIG TIG ARC) is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication and welding techniques.
Skills Required:
- Handson experience in structural fabrication cutting and assembling metal components.
- Proficiency in using grinders saws torches and welding equipment.
- Strong understanding of blueprints technical drawings and measurements.
- Knowledge of welding techniques structural integrity and metal properties.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced industrial or construction environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills for collaborating with other fabricators and engineers.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials as part of daily work.
