Job Description
IT Systems Engineer (Data Center)
Duration: Contract 10 months)
Position: Onsite
They are looking for someone with Storage Computing performance Infrastructure Applications background. This is a Data Center Engineer or Systems Engineer.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Compute Engineer with over 10 years of handson experience in designing implementing and optimizing compute environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of compute infrastructure particularly within financial institutions and will be proficient in managing highperformance systems and technologies. You will be responsible for ensuring the scalability performance and reliability of critical systems that support missioncritical financial applications.
Requirements
- Design implement and optimize compute environments to meet the specific needs of the financial institution ensuring maximum performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including network engineers system administrators and application developers to build integrated solutions.
- Assess and improve compute infrastructure through regular performance tuning resource management and capacity planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the compute environment minimizing downtime and optimizing system uptime.
- Ensure security protocols and best practices are integrated into compute environments especially to protect sensitive financial data.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with appropriate vendorspecific requirements and certifications.
- Implement costeffective compute solutions that align with the organization s budget and scalability requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Write, edit, review, and approve lifecycle documentation for computerized systems. URS, FRS, CDS, CS, ERES assessments, IA, IOQ Use both Veeva and Kneat to do the above Integrate equipment with DeltaV and PI historian using OPC, EtherNet/IP, PI interfaces and PI connectors Execute IQs and IOQs in Kneat on DeltaV
