Our key clients Contract Logistics business is growing fast! They have expanded from 75000 sqm in 2020 to over 200000 sqm across 7 warehouses in Japan in 2024. They provide Distribution Warehousing and Reverse Logistics services to customers in the Consumer Ecommerce Technology and Healthcare sectors.

Job Description: National Contract Logistics Quality Manager (Healthcare)

What Will You Be Doing on a Daily Basis Your primary objective is to drive all quality processes to meet internal and external regulatory as well as customer requirements. You will achieve this by collaborating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders while focusing on the following key tasks:

  • Develop implement maintain and control the integrated healthcare quality management system (QMS) fulfilling the GxP requirements.
  • Advise on monitor document and escalate quality activities relating to all Pharmaceutical/Healthcare products distributed.
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement and minimize risk through routine selfassessments corrective/preventative actions (CAPA) and executing a quality plan.
  • Train others on quality regulatory and healthcare topics ensuring all records are documented properly.
  • Conduct audits requested by customers third parties or authorities and communicate with regulatory agencies.
  • Adhere to all safe working procedures in accordance with instructions.
  • Support other quality safety health environment and security activities.

What Does It Take to Be Successful Your qualifications and leadership experience with quality auditing standards and processes will be critical to your success. In addition you will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of relevant pharmaceutical and healthcare legislation and requirements.

Key qualifications include:

  • Expertise in quality management with the role split as 25% Quality Control (QC) and 75% Quality Assurance (QA).
  • Ability to understand and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations specifically for medical appliances.
  • Fluency in Japanese to manage local legal and regulatory requirements effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance issues affecting healthcare customers.
  • Ability to coach operating sites on temperature and humidity requirements relating to storage.
