The Role
Almac Pharma Services part of the Almac Group of companies is an established and highly successful outsourcing partner working with leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies around the world. Our highly skilled team specialise in the development manufacture and packaging of pharmaceutical products providing medicines and treatments in a wide range of therapeutic areas to patients globally.
We are seeking an Associate Director of Engineering to assume a key operational leadership role within the Almac Pharma Services business.
Based at our Craigavon headquarters the successful candidate will be responsible for leadership of the engineering function with responsibility for Maintenance Project / Technical Engineering and Engineering Projects.
This includes a team of Maintenance Engineers working across a 24/7 pattern to support Production Operations a team of Plant Engineers who support key pieces of production supporting equipment a team of Project Engineers who support a variety of projects and continuous improvement initiatives and a team of Project Managers who manage process equipment utilities and facilities projects across various Almac Pharma Services sites.

What We Are Looking For
To apply for this position you should hold a Degree level (or equivalent) qualification in Engineering or have significant experience in a maintenance engineering and / or project management leadership role. With significant engineering experience developed over a range of roles you will have prior experience in managing a Maintenance Engineering function of significant scale and previous experience of capital projects.
