Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Superintendent to oversee and manage fire alarm installation projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fire alarm systems strong leadership skills and the ability to ensure that all projects are completed on time within budget and in compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage fire alarm installation projects ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Lead train and mentor field technicians and installation crews.
  • Coordinate with project managers contractors and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA codes local regulations and industry standards.
  • Oversee material procurement job scheduling and labor allocation.
  • Conduct site inspections troubleshoot issues and ensure proper system functionality.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports and asbuilt drawings.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fire alarm system installation with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA 72 local fire codes and lowvoltage systems.
  • Experience working with fire alarm brands such as Notifier Simplex EST Siemens or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints schematics and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using testing and diagnostic tools for fire alarm systems.
  • Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.
  • NICET certification (preferred but not required).
