Responsibilities:
- Diagnostic Testing: Identify mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Troubleshooting: Analyze operational issues and implement effective solutions.
- Parts Replacement: Order acquire and install replacement parts while ensuring quality standards.
- Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs lubrication brake adjustments and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Safety Inspections: Conduct safety checks to comply with regulatory standards and identify hazards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate service records to ensure compliance with maintenance schedules.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a mechanical technician preferably with forklifts or similar equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulic electrical and mechanical systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

Diagnostic Testing: Responsible for diagnosing mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues with forklifts. This involves using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems accurately.
Troubleshooting: When forklifts experience operational issues technicians troubleshoot to determine the root cause of the problem. They then develop and implement solutions to resolve issues effectively.
Parts Replacement: Responsible for ordering acquiring and installing replacement parts as needed. This may involve working with suppliers to source the necessary components and ensuring they meet quality standards.
Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance tasks on forklifts to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. This includes replacing defective parts lubricating moving components adjusting brakes and performing preventative maintenance.
Safety Inspections: They conduct safety inspections on forklifts to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and identify potential safety hazards. This includes checking brakes steering systems lights and other safety features.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on each forklift. This documentation helps track the service history of each vehicle and ensures compliance with maintenance schedules.
