Job Description

Job Title: Business Analyst (Health and Human Services )

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification:

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers government agencies and community organizations to understand the needs and requirements of health and human services programs.
  • Analyze program performance and identify opportunities for improvement efficiency and costeffectiveness.
  • Conduct business process analysis to recommend changes and enhancements in workflows policies and systems.
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements for new or modified programs projects or systems.
  • Provide data analysis and reporting on health and human services metrics trends and outcomes.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of new solutions including system enhancements or integrations to meet client needs.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders including subject matter experts to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Ensure that business requirements are properly documented and communicated to development teams or stakeholders.
  • Perform gap analysis to ensure current processes are in line with industry best practices and regulations (e.g. HIPAA ACA Medicaid or other relevant standards).
  • Support the development of business cases costbenefit analysis and risk assessments for new programs or initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.
  • Stay informed on trends and regulations within the health and human services sector to provide informed recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Healthcare Management Public Administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the health and human services sector (or healthcare industry).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare programs regulations and policies (e.g. Medicaid Medicare ACA etc.).
  • Experience with business process modeling requirements gathering and documenting business/functional requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data generate reports and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience in project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously meet deadlines and work independently.
  • Knowledge of relevant software tools (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite JIRA Tableau or similar tools).
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems or other health IT solutions is a plus.
  • Experience with data analytics tools or statistical software (e.g. SAS SPSS).
  • Experience in system implementations and process improvements for health organizations or government agencies.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
