Job Title: Business Analyst (Health and Human Services )
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification:
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with healthcare providers government agencies and community organizations to understand the needs and requirements of health and human services programs.
- Analyze program performance and identify opportunities for improvement efficiency and costeffectiveness.
- Conduct business process analysis to recommend changes and enhancements in workflows policies and systems.
- Gather and document business and technical requirements for new or modified programs projects or systems.
- Provide data analysis and reporting on health and human services metrics trends and outcomes.
- Assist in the design and implementation of new solutions including system enhancements or integrations to meet client needs.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders including subject matter experts to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
- Ensure that business requirements are properly documented and communicated to development teams or stakeholders.
- Perform gap analysis to ensure current processes are in line with industry best practices and regulations (e.g. HIPAA ACA Medicaid or other relevant standards).
- Support the development of business cases costbenefit analysis and risk assessments for new programs or initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and nontechnical stakeholders to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.
- Stay informed on trends and regulations within the health and human services sector to provide informed recommendations.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Healthcare Management Public Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the health and human services sector (or healthcare industry).
- Strong understanding of healthcare programs regulations and policies (e.g. Medicaid Medicare ACA etc.).
- Experience with business process modeling requirements gathering and documenting business/functional requirements.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data generate reports and present insights to stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Experience in project management methodologies (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously meet deadlines and work independently.
- Knowledge of relevant software tools (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite JIRA Tableau or similar tools).
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems or other health IT solutions is a plus.
- Experience with data analytics tools or statistical software (e.g. SAS SPSS).
- Experience in system implementations and process improvements for health organizations or government agencies.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
