Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging French language lessons in alignment with the IB PYP curriculum.
- Foster a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that encourages inquirybased learning.
- Develop students speaking listening reading and writing skills in French through interactive activities.
- Integrate IB learner profiles attitudes and key concepts into lesson planning.
- Use formative and summative assessments to track student progress and provide feedback.
- Encourage students to explore French culture literature and traditions through experiential learning.
- Collaborate with homeroom teachers subject specialists and IB coordinators to ensure interdisciplinary learning.
- Organize and participate in school events field trips and extracurricular activities related to language learning.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies IB PYP strategies and professional development opportunities.
- Fluent in French with excellent communication skills in both French and English.
- Knowledge of IB PYP principles inquirybased learning and differentiated instruction.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement strategies.
- Ability to integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into lessons.
- Passion for fostering a love of language learning in young students.
- Adaptability creativity and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience teaching French in an IB PYP school.
- Certification in IB PYP training or willingness to undergo training.
- Familiarity with multicultural and international school environment
