Nordic Light America Inc dba ITAB North America is part of the ITAB group. A publicly global traded company. The head quarter is in Sweden and our sistercompanies are located in over 20 different countries that specializes in shop concepts and shop equipment. Products offered include solution design customized shop fittings checkouts consumer flow solutions commercial lighting systems and digitally interactive solutions for the physical store. Our team in United States currently focuses on distributing and selling commercial light fixtures checkout lanes and gates and guidance products.
We are looking to add an Accounting Specialist to our team in Columbus Ohio.
Responsiblities:
Processing Accounts Payable invoices in a timely manner (matching to receivers and acquiring necessary approvals). Determine the appropriate GL accounts for related expenses.
Apply payments to suppliers accounts in the ERP system and maintain paid A/P files.
Correspond with suppliers regarding various billing questions.
Set up new customers in ERP system.
Check sales tax accurateness on outgoing customer invoices.
Apply payments to customers accounts in the ERP system send out reminders to customers and resolve issues with unpaid invoices.
General ledger account reconciliations.
Month end accruals.
Reconcile Intercompany A/P and A/R accounts monthly with subsidiary companies.
Assist with month end closing.
Assist with the monthly financial and data analysis reports.
Verification and process of W9 and subsequent yearend 1099.
Sales tax reporting to multiple states.
Plan and place orders for office supplies.
