Are you an experienced mechanical engineer with a passion for driveline technology Do you thrive in a dynamic global environment where innovation and teamwork drive success We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing cuttingedge mechanical components for heavyduty vehicles.
About the role
In this position you will take ownership of mechanical component design and development ensuring topquality performance and seamless industrialization. You will work closely with suppliers lead technical development projects and collaborate with stakeholders across different functions including Operations Purchasing Software Development and Product Management. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping the future of driveline solutions.
You will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components including essential documentation such as DFMEA drawings and tolerance stackups. CAD work will primarily be done in CREO.
A key part of your role will be leading the industrialization process working closely with suppliers to ensure successful implementation. Managing technical development projects will also be a central task where you will define scope timelines and budgets while ensuring highquality deliverables. As part of this role you will engage with internal stakeholders to enable smooth cooperation across various departments. Additionally you will maintain documentation and technology roadmaps ensuring accurate and uptodate product structures. Becoming a key expert in medium and heavyduty driveline structures your insights will be valuable to teams across the organization. You will also actively contribute to process improvements and be an engaged member of the engineering community.
Qualifications
A degree in Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics or a related field is required along with a minimum of five years of experience in research and development preferably within automotive and transmission development. Fluency in English both written and spoken is essential. Experience with systems such as KOLA PDMlink and PROTUM is an advantage.
