Job Description
responsible for assisting the production team on the factory floor by performing basic tasks like supplying materials loading and unloading machines maintaining cleanliness performing quality checks and generally supporting the overall production process often requiring minimal prior experience and under the supervision of more skilled workers.
Responsibilities
- Material handling:
Moving raw materials supplies and finished products around the factory floor using carts dollies or conveyor belts.
- Machine operation support:
Loading and unloading materials into machines feeding raw materials into production lines and making minor adjustments as needed.
- Quality control:
Performing basic quality checks on products to ensure they meet standards identifying and reporting defects.
- Cleanliness and maintenance:
Keeping the production area clean and organized including cleaning equipment spills and debris.
- Packaging and labeling:
Packaging finished products according to specifications and applying labels.
- Basic assembly tasks:
Performing simple assembly steps on products as needed.
- Following safety procedures:
Adhering to all safety guidelines and wearing required personal protective equipment.
Requirements
- Physical stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods lift and move heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to detail:
Ability to identify quality defects and maintain accuracy in tasks.
- Basic mechanical skills:
Understanding of basic machine operation and troubleshooting simple issues.
- Teamwork:
Ability to collaborate effectively with other production workers and supervisors.
- Adaptability:
Flexibility to work on different tasks and adjust to changing production needs.
Work environment:
- Factory floor with potential exposure to noise dust and varying temperatures.
- May require working on shifts including weekends and overtime depending on production demands.
