Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will process accounts receivable transactions including invoices payments and cash receipts.
- Manage collections: Manage collection efforts including following up with clients and setting up payment plans
- Maintain records: Maintain accounts receivable records including aging
- Communicate: Contact clients to request payment or set up payment plans
- Support audits: Support internal and external audits
- Evaluate policies: Evaluate current policies and recommend process improvements
- Manage projects: Manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports for management
- Assist in monthend closing procedures related to accounts receivable
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls for the AR process
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 24 years of experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks SAP) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong mathematical and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Demonstrated time management and multitasking abilities
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Understanding of credit and collection processes
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment
- Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist (CARS) certification is preferred
Additional Information :
U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The salary for this position is anticipated to range between $47.000 $57.000. This range is a goodfaith estimate based on the qualifications necessary for the position including experience training and other considerations permitted by law.Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidates skills experience and geographic location the expected quality and quantity of work and internal pay alignment as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range.The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience.An employees pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
