Applications Developer

Osler is seeking an Application Developer with a strong background in software development API integrations and enterprise system integration along with experience in databasedriven applications. The ideal candidate should have experience working with modern development tools including Node.js .NET and Python as well as being comfortable with SharePoint BizTalk HL7 and FHIR.

This role will focus on developing maintaining and optimizing applications; integrating with enterprise databases; and ensuring seamless communication between various health care systems.

Accountabilities:

• Application development and integration
  • Develop maintain and enhance applications using Python .NET and Node.js
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless data exchange
  • Work with FHIR and HL7 standards to integrate health care systems
  • Assist in developing and customizing Microsoft 365 solutions for business process automation
  • Support BizTalk integrations for enterprise application communication
  • Experience in frontend development using React React Native HTML CSS and JavaScript for building interactive databasedriven applications
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define application architecture and workflow optimizations
  • Assist in schema design query optimization and data modeling for efficient backend operations
  • Work with relational and NoSQL databases to support application development
  • Write and optimize stored procedures functions and triggers for performance improvement
  • Support application development teams in databasedriven application architectures
• Technical leadership and collaboration
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align development efforts with business objectives
  • Provide guidance on best practices for application development API security and system integration
  • Participate in discussions related to scalability performance optimization and cloudbased solutions
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies in application development and health care IT

Qualifications :

• Handson experience in application development using Node.js .NET or Python
• Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services
• Experience with BizTalk Server integrations and enterprise data exchange
• Experience working with HL7 FHIR or other healthcare data exchange protocols
• Understanding of SQL Server and NoSQL databases for application support
• Familiarity with SharePoint development and customization
• Experience with cloudbased application deployment and microservices architecture an asset
• Knowledge of AIdriven application development and predictive analytics an asset
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI for data visualization an asset

Additional Information :

Hours: Days and participate in an oncall rotation to provide 24/7 support. Work extended hours (days evenings nights weekends) as required (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)

Onsite First: Roles that frequently support direct patient care and have dedicated hours when they are available to patients team members and/or other partners
