Job Description

Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities building and maintaining strong client relationships and driving the growth of our commercial insurance portfolio. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the insurance industry and a proven track record in sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base and increase revenue.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends competitor activities and emerging opportunities.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present tailored insurance solutions to meet the specific needs of clients.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams including underwriting and claims to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities pipeline status and forecasts to senior management.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development within the insurance broking industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • SelfMotivation: Proactive and selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with CRM software.
