Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Quality & Test Specialist fluent in English to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Valletta Malta. The work will be carried out either in the companys premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major clients IT team on site.
Your tasks
- Analyse the system under testing and design the test strategy;
- Create design and maintain test plans;
- Create design and maintain test scripts and test data;
- Design and customize integration tests identify issues that may jeopardize the correct functioning of the application;
- Contribute to defect tracking and correction procedures;
- Use select and design testing tools to assess software quality;
- Apply design and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks.
Requirements
- University degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with minimum 6 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Proven experience in manual testing of web applications built with ASP.NET PHP and Node.js;
- Proven experience in manual testing involving the following methodologies: Functional Regression Exploratory Crossbrowser and UI/UX testing;
- Experience in organizing test plans and procedures for white and black box testing at unit module system and integration levels;
- Experience in selecting and developing integration testing techniques to ensure the system meets requirements;
- Experience in testing Microsoft applications;
- Experience in automation testing frameworks;
- Experience in quality and risk management procedures;
- Excellent command of the English language.

Details:
Position: Quality & Test Specialist
Deadline: 04/03/2025
Rate : Onsite: 440 max daily eur/day (including your rate)
Offsite: 350 max daily eur/day (including your rate)
Client: EUAA
Location: The role would be performed in Hybrid mode with 90% offsite and 10% onsite presence in Valetta Malta.
Please keep in mind that we can only consider candidates who can work as freelancers for this position.
