The SAI BP is a client expert and a key contributor to the development and expansion of NielsenIQs Strategic Analytics & Insights (SA&I) business. This role focuses on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to achieve both short and longterm revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning and Sales Execution
o Contribute to local sales plans and strategies in collaboration with sales leaders ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
o Manage an active sales pipeline and drive progress towards monthly quarterly and annual revenue targets.
o Assist in scoping and closing opportunities while adhering to profitability guidelines.
o Drive revenue growth through account retention expansion and acquisition.
2. Client Relationship Management
o Maintain and develop commercial relationships with clients acting as a trusted partner.
o Monitor client activity and anticipate their needs to provide tailored solutions.
o Gather and communicate client feedback to shape product development and prioritization.
3. Business Development
o Identify new partnership opportunities and participate in campaigns to generate leads.
o Monitor market and competitor activities to refine engagement strategies.
o Participate in RFP processes ensuring proposals align with client needs and organizational goals.
4. Collaboration and Communication
o Partner closely with commercial leaders to align on sales goals strategies and priorities.
o Act as a liaison between organizational units to ensure seamless execution of client initiatives.
o Represent the voice of the client internally collaborating with advisory boards and product teams to shape longterm strategies.
5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting
o Track and evaluate sales performance metrics including conversion rates and sales cycle efficiency.
o Provide detailed sales forecasts and progress reports to senior team members and leadership.
6. Operational Excellence
o Ensure adherence to internal processes including the use of CRM systems for tracking customer interactions.
o Promote alignment between operational activities and broader strategic objectives.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Conversion rate improvements and reduction in sales cycle time.
Effective client engagement and satisfaction.
Timely and accurate reporting of sales activities and pipeline.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal Business Partner thrives in a dynamic sales environment and has a proven ability to open doors and build meaningful client relationships. They possess a strategic mindset operational rigor and the ability to balance shortterm goals with longterm growth strategies.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field (Masters preferred).
Proven experience in sales client relationship management or business development within the CPG Tech & Durables or consumer research sector.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to develop actionable insights.
Proficiency in using CRM and other sales management tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
