SENCO Thriving Secondary School Gloucester September 2025 Start

Location: Gloucester
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: FullTime Permanent
Salary: Competitive Based on Experience

A thriving and inclusive secondary school in Gloucester is seeking an experienced and passionate SENCO to lead its SEND provision from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key leadership role in a school that is dedicated to ensuring every student reaches their full potential.

Your Role as SENCO:

Oversee and Develop SEND Provision Ensure that all students with additional needs receive highquality support.
Create and Implement EHCPs Work closely with staff students and families to design effective individual plans.
Provide Staff Training and Guidance Lead CPD sessions to ensure best practices in SEND teaching.
Collaborate with External Agencies Liaise with educational psychologists therapists and local authorities.
Track and Improve Student Outcomes Monitor progress and adapt interventions to ensure student success.

Who Were Looking For:

SENCO Qualification (or working towards it) National Award for SEN Coordination preferred.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in SEND provision.
Passionate About Inclusion A commitment to ensuring all students thrive in their education.
Strong Leadership Skills Experience managing a team and implementing schoolwide strategies.
Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to apply).
