A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Swindon is seeking an experienced and dynamic SENCO to lead its SEND provision from April 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the schools SEND strategy and support students in achieving their full potential.

Oversee and Develop SEND Strategy Ensure that SEND provision is effective and aligned with best practices.
Create and Implement EHCPs Support students by developing tailored education plans.
Provide Staff Training and Guidance Ensure that teachers are equipped to meet the needs of SEND students.
Work with Parents and External Agencies Build strong relationships to enhance student outcomes.
Monitor and Improve Student Progress Use data and assessments to refine interventions and support systems.
SENCO Qualification (or working towards it) National Award for SEN Coordination preferred.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a background in SEND.
Passionate About Inclusion A dedication to ensuring every student has access to highquality education.
Strong Leadership and Organizational Skills Ability to lead a team and drive schoolwide improvements.
Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to apply).
