Short Description:
client is seeks to hire a Data Analyst resource to provide data analysis and management support. Must have at least 10 years overall in Data Analyst experience.
Complete Description:
The role of the Data Analyst is to provide data analysis support for the Office of Education Through Employment Pathways which is located within the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Education. This is a highly skilled position and familiarity with educational data and policies is required.
The position will require the resource to produce data analysis with a focus on education and workforcerelated data sets and to produce publicfacing write ups of the data analysis that share key data insights in accessible language for the public. The Data Analyst shall have knowledge and expertise with R and Tableau. The role will involve working closely across education and workforce agency teams. The ETEP Data Analyst should possess extremely strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to address both business and technical audiences.
Duties:
- Analyzes information and statistical data to prepare reports and studies for use by professionals.
- Creates charts and graphics to present statistical analysis in an easily digestible format for a nontechnical audience
- Create publicfacing written reports to present analytic findings to stakeholders and the public in accessible language
- Plans organizes and conducts research focused on education and workforce related topics.
Minimum Education/Certification Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Data Analytics or related field or equivalent experience
- Experience working in R required
- Experience working in Tableau required
- Experience of working with business stakeholders to support their data needs.
- Experience presenting technical information to nontechnical audiences
- Experience working with education and workforcerelated data preferred
Responsibilities:
