Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Java test engineer to join our team and play a key role in the modernization and development of our Product Information Management (PIM) system. You will work closely together with the development team to ensure that the PIM system meets all functional and nonfunctional requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java test automation frameworks and agile development methodologies.

Tasks
- Design develop and maintain automated test scripts (unit tests integration tests etc.) using Java and relevant test automation frameworks with a focus on backend functionality
- Ensure test coverage of the important functions of the PIM system
- Ensure compatibility of the PIM system with the various system requirements
- Execute test scripts and analyze results to identify defects
- Collaborate with developers to fix defects and improve the quality of the PIM system
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on test coverage and quality
- Stay uptodate on the latest testing tools and methodologies
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process
Requirements
Essential:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
- 2 years of experience in software testing preferably in an agile development environment
- Programming skills in Java
- Experience with Java test frameworks such as JUnit Mockito Cucumber Selenium etc.
- DevOps skills and experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferrably also experience with:
- TDD (testdriven development) methodologies
- BDD (behaviordriven development) methodologies
