Job Description
Job Title: Test Engineer
Location: Minneapolis MN Remote
Duration: 6 months Contract
Job Description:
Manual Testing:
- Develop execute and maintain detailed test plans test cases and test scripts.
- Perform functional integration regression and exploratory testing to ensure product quality.
- Identify document and track bugs and defects using tools like JIRA TestRail or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software quality assurance.
Performance Testing:
- Design and execute performance load stress and scalability tests using tools like JMeter LoadRunner or Gatling.
- Analyze application performance metrics and identify bottlenecks or areas for optimization.
- Work with development teams to optimize queries code and infrastructure for better performance.
- Generate detailed performance test reports and recommend solutions to improve system efficiency.
Test Automation & Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive test cases for efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of test frameworks and automation scripts when required.
- Stay up to date with the latest testing methodologies tools and trends to enhance test strategies.
