Role1: Software Engineer Java Cloud(GCP) Engineer

Location: Onsite in Dublin OH

Duration: 6 months Contract to hire.

Job Description:

• Software Engineering is responsible for designing developing implementing and supporting applications systems and IT products required to achieve the companys business objectives. Demonstrates knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces.
• Demonstrates general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems databases application servers web servers and integration technologies. Plans and executes system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts.
• Demonstrates conceptual knowledge of architecture standards and database and operating systems.
• Demonstrates problem solving ability that allows for effective and timely resolution of system issues including but not limited to production outages.
• Analyzes production system operations using tools such as monitoring capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance.
• Demonstrates knowledge of software development life cycle modeling of business processes application design patterns business/functional documents. Estimates to high level business requirements and provide options analysis. You love working on high performing teams collaborating with team members and improving our ability to deliver You are able to colocate with the development team if needed You have a passion and proven track record for creating robust scalable applications.

Education & qualification :

• Bachelors Degree Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent work experience 4 years experience in related field preferred Working knowledge of two or more technologies preferred
• The PDI team is looking for a strong GCP/Java engineer who can work independently on complex features using Terraform Cloud Functions Cloud Composer and Kubernetes.
• Experience working with large volumes of transactional data is preferred.
• 7 years of experience is preferred. Equivalent to a senior P3 in level.

Role 2: Junior Software Engineer

Location: Onsite in Dublin OH

Duration: 6 months Contract to hire.

Job description:

• This is a junior engineering role (P2) for run engineering that will operate our current state applications including triaging of alerts and managing customer subscriptions. As they grow in the role this person will become responsible for improving operations processes and workflows.
