Job Summary:
The Demi Chef De Partie assists in the daily operations of the kitchen by preparing food maintaining high standards of hygiene and supporting the Chef De Partie in managing kitchen staff. The role requires a handson approach to food preparation and cooking ensuring consistency and quality in all dishes.
Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation & Cooking:
- Assist in preparing ingredients sauces and dishes in accordance with the menu and recipes.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality standards and in a timely manner.
- Maintain consistency in food presentation taste and texture.

Kitchen Hygiene & Safety:
- Follow food safety protocols and health regulations to ensure a clean safe and organized kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen including utensils equipment and work areas.
- Ensure proper storage of food items according to safety standards.

Support to Senior Chefs:
- Assist the Chef De Partie in running a specific section of the kitchen.
- Help train and guide junior kitchen staff as needed.
- Ensure that food preparation meets the standards set by the kitchen leadership.

Stock Management:
- Help in the management of stock levels ensuring ingredients are ordered and stored properly.
- Monitor and report any stock shortages or overstocking issues.

Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
- Be flexible in assisting other kitchen sections when required.

Menu Development & Special Requests:
- Assist in preparing seasonal dishes or special menu items as required.
- Work with the team to create new dishes and improve existing ones.

Quality Control:
- Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen meet the restaurants quality standards.
- Address any issues or feedback regarding food quality presentation or taste.
