Job Description
SAP Ariba Senior Web Services Specialist Job Description
- SAP Ariba Senior Web Services Specialist will work with Integrations teams and the client responsible for identifying configuring customizing the SAP Ariba Web services for the modules in scope.
- Work with SAP functional consultants to identify the appropriate SAP Ariba Web services and coordinate with Integration teams such as MuleSoft to conduct sessions on mapping between the source and SAP Ariba WS for each field as per client requirement
- Work with Client and Integrations team to clarify on the requirements and review on the mapping and business requirements
- Pulling data modelling data definitions formats validations from the client requirement and mapping between source systems and SAP Ariba both Inbound and Outbound
- Create and document the mapping sheets for the endpoints field mappings for each interface E2E process flows and workflows on Source destinations and within SAP Ariba
- Support the Integrations and testing teams for debugging and provide/fix custom fields permission issues authentication/authorization issues to access the SAP Ariba WS
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Computer Engineering IT Business Computer or related fields
- At least 5 years of IT experience on SOAP webservices REST APIs Swagger POSTMAN tools and working on Agile methodology and all aspects of Software Engineering and Systems Development Life Cycle SDLC.
- At least 3 years of experience working with SAP Ariba Web services
- Documented participation in at least 3 full implementation cycles of the SAP Ariba Web services expertise
- SAP Ariba Functional knowledge on the primary modules on SAP platform (Sourcing SLP Contracts Invoicing Buying SCC Commerce Automation)
- Proficiency in configuring and activate SAP Ariba Webservices for each module in scope and enable required Authentication Authorization permissions for the SOAP service invocation for both Inbound and Outbound communications
- Investigating and documenting all the data definitions field layouts and volume requirements form client for the SAP Ariba WS on data definitions data mappings between source and destination (SAP Ariba)
- Supporting Integrations team and the testing teams for the debugging on the SAP Ariba WS
- Deep knowledge on SAP Ariba WS for both synchronous asynchronous bulk options
