Job Overview

Join a leading financial services organization as a Senior Associate – ALM Tools Support Engineer in an exciting contracttohire role! Reporting to a dynamic engineering support team you’ll assist project teams with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools—rolling out solutions configuring tools to meet project needs and training users. Based in either Coppell TX or Tampa FL this position requires an onsite interview and offers a collaborative innovative environment—perfect for skilled professionals including transitioning veterans eager to advance their technical careers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide ALM tools support troubleshooting user issues creating new users/projects and monitoring usage with reporting.
  • Customize and maintain ALM tools (e.g. Microfocus QC/ALM/Octane) including workflows user roles alerts and dashboards.
  • Partner with engineering teams to deploy and integrate current/new tool suites across projects.
  • Automate repetitive tasks via scripting and assist teams with charts dashboards and audit report extraction.
  • Pilot new tools test upgrades with IT and manage migrations patches and validation of ALM environments.
  • Monitor centralized services (e.g. license servers databases) and integrate ALM tools with thirdparty systems.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to structure solutions and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and share tool usage best practices using SQL queries and macro creation.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Strong background in enduser software support focusing on troubleshooting issue resolution and user communication (ALM experience preferred but not required).
  • Skills:
    • Excellent organizational interpersonal time management analytical and problemsolving skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication for technical and nontechnical audiences.
    • Ability to work independently and across functional/geographic boundaries.
    • Familiarity with SQL queries macro creation and software configuration/scripting (e.g. Python a plus).
  • Work Style: Capable of managing multiple priorities adapting quickly and proactively offering innovative solutions.
  • Requirements: Onsite interview required; ability to travel as needed.
