IT Program Manager Global Cost Optimization
This position offers an opportunity to lead a global IT software cost optimization program within the insurance industry. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning execution and delivery of this initiative ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. This role requires strong program management expertise particularly within IT along with leadership analytical and communication skills.
What is in it for you:
Salaried: $85 to $100 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $105 to $120 per hour.
12month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule from 9 am to 5 pm.
Remote with occasional inoffice attendance as needed.
Responsibilities:
Lead the endtoend management of the global IT software cost optimization program.
Develop a detailed program plan including scope timeline resource allocation and risk management strategies.
Collaborate with IT finance procurement and business teams to identify and implement costsaving opportunities.
Monitor program progress identify potential risks and implement corrective actions.
Prepare and present regular status reports to senior leadership highlighting key milestones and achievements.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement promoting innovation and best practices in cost management.
Manage stakeholder communications and expectations to ensure transparency and alignment.
Drive change management initiatives to support the adoption and sustainability of cost optimization measures.
Global calls: May require participation in calls before 9 am or up to 9 pm depending on time zones.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelors degree in a technical field such as computer science or computer engineering.
PMP or PMI certification preferred.
7 to 10 years of experience in program management with a focus on IT or technologyrelated programs.
Experience managing largescale global projects preferably related to cost optimization or efficiency improvement.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive databased decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
Familiarity with IT financial management vendor management and contract negotiation.
Strong problemsolving abilities and a strategic mindset.
