You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our UK Small & Medium Business Team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management exceptional communication skills and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. A background in sales or account management along with experience in the FMCG sector or equivalent and an appreciation of NielsenIQ and/or competitor products services and data is essential.
Key Priorities
Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
Develop and implement strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients addressing their needs and resolving any issues that arise.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client requirements.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
Prepare and present regular reports on account performance and progress to senior management.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability and ensure mutual benefit.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior account managers and other team members.

Qualifications:
35 years of experience working with SMB brands FMCG or CPG.
Extensive understanding of the challenges and needs faced by FMCG manufacturers and retailers.
Background in direct sales sales development or account management with a desire to join a fantastic global company offering significant progression potential.
Ideally experience in the FMCG sector or equivalent with an appreciation of NielsenIQ and/or competitor products services and data.
Preferably a strong understanding of data insights and category marketing either from an agency or client background.
