Job Description
Were looking for a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to join Procores Compute Division to work on our FedRAMP initiative. In this role youll help build Procores nextgeneration construction compute platform for others to build upon including Procore developers analysts partners and customers.
As a Staff Site Reliability Engineer youll partner with other engineers and product managers across Product & Technology to develop and maintain compute platform capabilities that enable SaaS based products to operate in a FedRAMP compliant environment. To be successful in this role youre passionate about distributed systems on the cloud with experience in operating and maintaining cloud based products atscale. If youre an engineer comfortable and excited about building our nextgeneration platform and translating problems into pragmatic solutions that open up the boundaries of technical possibilitieswed love to hear from you!
This position reports to the Director of Infrastructure Platform and will be based in our Austin TX office. Were looking for someone to join us immediately.
What youll do:
Participate in the design and implementation of our nextgeneration data platform for the construction industry primarily focused on building and supporting distributed systems
Support our engineering team in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering functional and technical design development testing and rollout and support
Help identify and propose solutions for technical gaps in our platform by running proof of concepts and experiments
Work alongside our Product UX and IT teams leveraging your experience and expertise in cloud technologies to influence our product roadmap developing innovative solutions that add additional capabilities to our tools
Stay up to date with the latest data technology trends
What were looking for:
Experience operating kubernetes clusters
Experience provisioning and operating cloud native tools at scale
4 years of experience as a CKA CKD
8 years of experience building and operating cloudbased highly available distributed and scalable systems with large amounts of data
Experience and proficiency in managing infrastructure as code such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience with AWS (RDS EC2 S3 IAM etc.)
Experience with FedRAMP
Additional Information :
Base Pay Range $168560 $231770. Eligible for Bonus Incentive Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive fair and commensurate compensation and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidates jobrelated skills experience education or training and location.
